  1. Mar 21,  · Zooropa - buying it as my second proper U2 album after loving the songs performed on the Sydney video (which I watched over and over again). Learning Numb off by heart in my bedroom. Being so thrilled when the title track was brought back on .
  2. This is the first Japanese release on CD of Zooropa by U2. Comes complete with OBI and Japanese insert. Priced at ¥2, as per OBI. All tracks written by U2 and published by Blue Mountain Music (UK), Mother Music (IRL), Taiyo Music Inc. (Japan) and PolyGram International Music Publishing B.V. (ROW)/5(10).
  3. Initially intended to be just an EP, Zooropa became a full-fledged album with 10 tracks recorded in six-weeks, the fastest U2 album ever. Interesting releases from around the world included two Australian sets of 2 x 5 CD packs. The first 2 x 5 CD pack included a .
  4. 8. The First Time - A song that sounds like it's straight from side 2 of The Joshua Tree (my favorite U2 album), I really like this track. The song's chorus has a piano focus which I really enjoy. The song really doesn't sound like anything else on the album, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. The ending is really amazing, too. (4/5) /5().
  5. Album Description Available in: Zooropa is the eighth studio album by rock band U2. Produced by Flood, Brian Eno, and The Edge, it was released on 5 July on Island Records. Inspired by the band's experiences on the Zoo TV Tour, Zooropa expanded on many of the tour's themes of technology and media oversaturation.
  6. Zooropa Plus - CD Island (PolyGram) [au] / EAN CD 1: the album Zooropa and the single Stay (Faraway, So Close!). In a time that U2 were basically kings of the world and one of the biggest bands in the world they gave us this half hearted attempt at alternative. Even the most ardent U2 fan will agree this was.
  7. AllMusic Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine U2 planned to record a new EP before launching the European leg of their ambitious Zoo TV tour in , but the EP quickly turned into the full-length album Zooropa. Picking up where Achtung Baby left off, Zooropa delves heavily into U2 's newfound affection for experimental music and dance clubs.
